About Camp St. Croix

Mission

Camp St. Croix challenges all youth and adults to grow in spirit, mind and body using group-based outdoor education programs.

Development and learning goals are achieved through quality programs of summer resident camps, summer day camp, environmental education, teambuilding and group conferences and retreats.

Operational Goals

develop an understanding and appreciation of ourselves and all other individuals
promote healthy lifestyles and interpersonal relationships
develop environmental awareness, appreciation, and responsibility
create an atmosphere that encourages spiritual growth and expression of values
broaden international understanding

History

Over the 98-year history of YMCA Camp St. Croix there has always been a focus and primary effort of building character values through every program experience. Throughout the history of YMCA camping the balanced development of spirit, mind and body has been a guiding force. Location and Directions

YMCA Camp St. Croix is located two miles south of Hudson, Wisconsin, on a beautiful 400-acre site overlooking Lake St. Croix. Open prairie, wooded ravines, pine forest, and St.Croix River shoreline are all a part of the scenery at Camp St. Croix.
